Welcome to my grimoire.

This site is an online compilation of notes I took while working in one of the nation's oldest occult shops from 1996-98, taken from a ten-pound binder I accumulated during the course of my employment. The information comes from a study of parallels between European witchcraft and New Orleans practices, the common denominators of which have ended up as standard stock in most of today's spiritual shops. It is intended as a DIY resource for those of you who want to create your own rites and practices, rather than following a ready-made spell.

As you can guess from the name, this is a rather unorthodox approach to nature spirituality, working more from chaos, art, night magicks, city atmopsheres, dance, and other modern twists rather than strictly adhering to a "tradition." It is by no means a definitive guide, more an ongoing record of some things I've learned that the texts didn't cover. It is a perpetual work in progress, since there's always something new to be discovered.
